Why not just price per Kg on both?

And unless my maths is failing shouldn't both values be the same?

Rather than one being 2p per Kg more expensive?

  1. it's all in the rounding.

    £10.48 per kg = £1.048 per 100g= £1.9912 for 190g but £1.048 on a SEL wouldn't be right.

£1.05 per 100g = £1.995 for 190g which, if you were to round it up would actually be £2

Hence, the one on the left is actually the better bargain as technically you're getting it cheaper than it should be.

However, the one on the right looks nicer to me!
